Why Choose FlexStone?
FAQ
What are FlexStone panels made from?
FlexStone panels are made from Modified Mineral (Clay) Composite, or MCM. This material combines natural stone powder with a flexible polymer binder to recreate stone’s texture and appearance in a thin, lightweight sheet.
Where can FlexStone panels be used?
FlexStone is designed for interior and exterior wall applications, including feature walls, entrances, columns, facades, and commercial interiors. For showers, fireplace surrounds, or other demanding applications, contact our team to confirm the specifications and installation requirements for your selected panel.
What size are the panels, and can they be cut to fit?
Standard panels measure 24″ × 48″ and cover 8 square feet before cuts and waste. Panels are 3–5 mm thick and can be trimmed around corners, outlets, and architectural features. Custom 4′ × 10′ panels are also available to order.
How are FlexStone panels installed?
FlexStone panels are bonded to a clean, sound, properly prepared surface using a compatible adhesive system. Their lightweight construction makes them easier to handle and position, while their flexibility accommodates suitable curved surfaces. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for cutting, surface preparation, joints, and any additional fastening requirements.
