Choosing wall panels online is a useful starting point. Seeing them in person helps you understand the details that photographs can miss: surface texture, color variation, panel profile, and the scale of a pattern.
Whether you are planning one accent wall or selecting materials for a commercial project, a little preparation can make your showroom visit more productive.
Here is what to bring and what to look for when you arrive.

Bring Photos of the Whole Room
Start with a clear photograph of the wall you want to change. Take additional photos from farther back so the surrounding room is visible.
Include nearby windows, doors, flooring, furniture, and adjoining walls. These details help explain the space and influence which finishes may work well together.
For a TV wall, photograph the current television, cabinet, outlets, and visible cables. For a reception area or another commercial space, include the surrounding furnishings and how people use the area.
Measure the Wall
Bring the approximate width and height of the wall. Note the location and size of any windows, doors, or other features within it.
If the project includes a television, bring its dimensions. If you plan to keep an existing cabinet, measure that too.
These measurements help with initial design and material discussions. Final quantities may require more precise measurements, which you or your contractor can confirm before ordering.
Bring Inspiration and Explain What You Like
A saved image can help communicate your preferences, but you do not have to reproduce every detail. Looking for ideas? Browse our TV wall and accent wall designs before your visit.
Tell us what attracted you to it. Is it the marble pattern, the wood color, the floating cabinet, the symmetry, or the lighting?
Also mention anything you want to avoid. For example, you may prefer a simple wall without a fireplace, or shelving without additional lighting. These preferences help narrow the options.

Share a Comfortable Budget
An approximate budget makes the conversation more useful.
Dunya supplies the materials, and the installation is done by your own contractor or as a DIY project, using our installation guides. Tell us which features you are planning, such as a floating cabinet, shelves, lighting or a wall-mounted TV, so we can recommend panels that work with them.
At Dunya, qualifying basic residential wall-material packages start at $699. Installation and additional features are quoted separately. Your selected design and project requirements determine the final estimate.
Compare Materials Together
During your visit, look at potential combinations rather than choosing every finish separately.
Place a stone-look sample beside the fluted panel you are considering. Compare them with your flooring and furniture photos. Notice whether the wood tone feels too yellow, too red, or too dark for the room.
For large patterns, ask to see a larger display where available. A small sample may show the color and texture without revealing how the full pattern will look across a wall.
Ask Questions About Your Particular Application
Explain where the material will be installed and what conditions it will face.
Ask about the selected product’s installation requirements, suitable wall preparation, finishing options, and care instructions. For bathrooms, fireplace areas, or commercial projects, discuss the specific application before making a selection. Dunya provides installation guides for its products, such as the FlexMarble installation manual, so you or your contractor knows how to prepare the wall.
Material suitability should be confirmed for the product and installation, not assumed from its appearance.

Leave With a Clear Next Step
Before you leave, confirm which materials you prefer and what information is still needed.
Your next step may be taking samples home, providing final measurements, requesting a quote or arranging an installation discussion.
